Following the auspicious Basant Panchami Snan on February 3, the ‘Maha Kumbh of Culture’ (grand cultural festival) is set to resume, bringing together the rich diversity of India's traditions. The Culture Department has set the stage for a spectacular celebration at the Ganga Pandal, over the next four days.
A special crowd management plan, ‘Operation Eleven', has been put in place for the Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami at Mahakumbh. The initiative has been launched under the strict directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees.
At the Maha Kumbh Mela on Saturday, a special 118-member foreign delegation, including diplomats and Heads of Missions from 77 countries, took a scared dip at the Triveni Sangam in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj along with their spouses and expressed their happiness on this auspicious occasion.
A large number of devotees, along with VIPs and VVIPs, are arriving at the Triveni Sangam to take a holy dip during Maha Kumbh 2025. However, the Yogi government has strictly prohibited VIP protocols on ‘Amrit Snan’ and other major bathing festivals to ensure an equal and seamless experience for all pilgrims.
