Sundarbans area in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district has recorded the maximum number of casualties from the state in the derailment of several coaches of the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express train in Odisha's Balasore district.

As per the instruction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inspected the accident site on Saturday, restoration work was going on full swing and the restoration will be completed by Wednesday morning, the Minister informed.

Train communication has been snapped to Bhadrak and Balasore due to the accident. So, the family members can visit Bhubaneswar smoothly to find the bodies of loved ones, Chief Secretary P.K Jena said.
