Officials probing the murder of a Amazon senior manager by unknown five miscreants in the Bhajanpura area of the national capital are investigating the possible involvement of a local gang led by gangster Maya, alias Sameer, in the crime.

A senior manager at Amazon was shot dead by unknown assailants in Delhi's Bhajanpura area, an official said on Wednesday, adding that another person was also injured in the firing.

The amount of the scam, which took place from 2017-18 to 2021-22, amounted to Rs 144.33 crore and involved 830 institutes where fake beneficiaries were identified during the investigation.

"We have today lodged a strong protest through diplomatic channels with the Chinese side on the so called 2023 ‘standard map’ of China that lays claim to India’s territory," external affairs ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Tuesday.

"In the restroom, I encountered two boys already present. One of them locked the door from inside, while the other, standing next to me, subjected me to forced sexual acts," read the FIR lodged by the Class 8 student's family. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the reduction in prices of cooking gas cylinders by Rs 200 for all connection holders will give a lot of convenience to all "my sisters and family members on the occasion of Rakshabandhan."

As of now, the price of domestic LPG, which is used in the kitchen for cooking purposes, is Rs 1,103 per 14.2-kg cylinder in New Delhi. This will now come down by Rs 200 per cylinder.
