Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu arrived in Aizawl on Sunday to take additional charge as the Governor of Mizoram on Monday, officials said.

In a move that is likely to cause some hardship to the people of the state, mobile Internet services were suspended in Assam on Sunday for eight hours from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

The shutdown that began in Manipur’s hill districts including Churachandpur and Kangpokpi districts on Friday over fears of attacks on Kuki-Zo tribals, will continue on Sunday.

Authorities in Manipur's Imphal East, Imphal West, and Bishnupur on Saturday curtailed the curfew relaxations, apprehending major protests by women in these districts.
