Aspirants for the Secondary Test for Graduate Teachers (STGT) staged a demonstration in front of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha's residence, demanding an immediate completion of the recruitment process.

He continued blaming the previous government and further alleged, “During the last 35 years rule of the Left front government in Tripura the state was drowned under drug menace, where the youths were heavily involved.”
