The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday that cyclone Mocha over southeast Bay of Bengal is likely to cause 'heavy' to 'very heavy' rainfall in Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, southern Assam and parts of Manipur and adjoining areas on Saturday and Sunday.
Sources said that apart from the Tripura High Court, these Lok Adalats will sit on public holidays in all district and sub-divisional court premises of the state. A total of 11,346 cases will be taken up for disposal in 66 benches of this Lok Adalat.
“During investigation so far police has arrested two accused persons. During raid the involved vehicle and Indian currency amounting Rs.90 lacs have been seized from the house of one of the accused persons”, said Police.
