The Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) is working day and night to restore the power in South and Gomati District which was worst affected by flood and so far majority of the villages in both the districts have been restored.

Police informed that after the preliminary investigation, the Bangladeshi nationals admitted that they entered into the Indian Territory in Tripura by illegally crossing the border through Sonamura area. A specific case has been registered against the arrested Bangladeshi nationals.
