The state forest minister Animesh Debbarma on Wednesday inaugurated the 75th State Level Vanamahotsava at Ambassa and laid stress on protecting the forest land and forest resources in the state.

The state Animal Resource Development (ARDD) minister Sudhangshu Das on Wednesday inaugurated a veterinary hospital at Sabroom in South Tripura district and said that the government has set a target to achieve self-sufficiency in fodder production.

A total of nine Bangladeshi nationals including six women have been apprehended at the Agartala railway station while they were trying to board trains destined to different parts of the country, including the national capital, the police said on Saturday.
