Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated Lavarthi Parivar Maha Sammelan here at Agartala Rabindra Bhavan and said that his government is working diligently to enhance the socio-economic status of the people of Tripura.

The ruling comes after an incident on June 27, 2020, where Kanai Debnath allegedly assaulted Debbrata Sharma, a minor over a dispute regarding access to drinking water.
