Day after the cyclone ‘Midhili’ battered several parts of the state with the gusty wind accompanied by the torrential rain causing damage to agricultural fields, the state agriculture minister on Saturday assured of all forms of assistance to the affected farmers.
At a time when the cyclone ‘Midhili’ triggered havoc across the state of Tripura on Friday, the farmers in different parts of the state incurred huge loss after their agricultural lands were swamped with the torrential rain, which accompanied the gusty wind since Friday morning.
Cyclone 'Midhili' would hit Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, parts of Assam and other parts of northeastern states when it crossed to Bangladesh coast on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday.
