Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury chaired a review meeting on Wednesday to initiate the process of purchasing paddy from farmers at a minimum subsidized price of Rs 21.83 per kg.

The state transport and tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday launched a cashless transaction system in all the district transport offices of the state and said that the system is expected to generate high revenue and ensure transparency in services.
