Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday sought cooperation of the teachers and faculties in establishing the educational institutions of the state as ‘Centre of Excellence’. He said that the government is working sincerely towards rendering quality education for all.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha criticized the Congress and CPIM parties for their oppressive reign in the state stating that the people have finally broken free from their dark rule since the BJP came into power.

"We found the truck suspicious and upon inspection we discovered 70 packets of cannabis weighing a total of 140 kgs. The contraband was concealed in a secret compartment underneath the truck's body," stated the police official.
