A 12-day long ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp’ has begun from Tuesday here at Agartala Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel Stadium for the NCC cadets of the country.
Governor N Indrasena Reddy inaugurated the camp on Tuesday and lauded the initiative of organizing camp for the NCC cadets. He said that this camp aims to foster the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat and solidarity amongst NCC cadets.
He said that this is also to create awareness regarding diverse cultural heritage of the country highlighting the various aspects of unity in diversity.
Around 500 NCC cadets both male and female, from different parts of the country have joined the camp.
