16 houses damages across Tripura due to heavy rainfall

AGARTALA:

Due to heavy rainfall and strong wind held across the state, the Dhalai district was severely affected as 15 houses damaged.

A report from State Emergency Operation Centre said that due to the rainfall and strong wind 15 houses partly damaged in Kamalpur under Dhalai district while 1 house partly damaged in Sonamura under Sepahijala district.

While all the major rivers in the state are below flowing expected flood level. The report further said that rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over all districts of the state.

They also given a warning for the coming 24-hours and said - thunderstorm with lightning and heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over north district of Tripura.

Thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over Unakoti, Dhalai, Khowai & West districts of the state. Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over rest districts in the state.
