In a heart-wrenching incident that has left the community of Killa area in Gomati district devastated, a 17-year-old school student named Meghla Jamatia took her own life. Meghla, a 12th-grade student, ingested poison, tragically ending her young life. Her father, who was not at home at the time, shared this heartbreaking account with authorities.
The distressing incident unfolded at the Jamatia residence when Meghla, in a bid to conceal her actions from her mother, consumed the poisonous substance. Soon after, her health rapidly deteriorated, prompting her family to rush her to Killa Hospital. Recognizing the severity of her condition, medical professionals at Killa Hospital referred her to Gomati District Hospital.
Despite efforts to save her life, Meghla's condition continued to worsen, prompting a further referral to GB Hospital. Tragically, the young girl passed away inside the ambulance while en route to GB Hospital.
The motive behind Meghla's decision to take such a drastic step remains a mystery, leaving her family and loved ones grappling with shock and grief. The local community and authorities are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and are extending their support to the grieving family during this difficult time.
