In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, a decisive operation was carried out by the Tripura police in Udaipur sub-division leading to the arrest of 22 drug peddlers, including a notorious kingpin, on a late Tuesday night.
Unveiling the details of this successful mission, a police personnel from Radhakishorepur Police Station, said that crucial intelligence had come to their attention regarding a drug lord known as Taher Miah Chowdhury. This individual had allegedly been orchestrating the illicit distribution of drugs throughout the district by enlisting numerous young agents.
Acting swiftly upon this credible information, the police conducted a daring raid on Taher Miah Chowdhury's residence. Their bravery paid off as they managed to seize a substantial stash of narcotics, including a pouch of brown sugar, 165 filled vials, and numerous empty vials. The arrest did not stop there, as other accomplices were also apprehended at the scene, individuals who were caught in the act of filling the vials with these dangerous substances.

In a series of meticulously planned actions, 21 more individuals, who were agents under the command of Taher Miah Chowdhury were captured. These individuals had been diligently working to supply drugs throughout Udaipur city and beyond, contributing to the grave issue of drug abuse in the region.
