In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, a decisive operation was carried out by the Tripura police in Udaipur sub-division leading to the arrest of 22 drug peddlers, including a notorious kingpin, on a late Tuesday night.

This individual had allegedly been orchestrating the illicit distribution of drugs throughout the district by enlisting numerous young agents.
Acting swiftly upon this credible information, the police conducted a daring raid on Taher Miah Chowdhury's residence. Their bravery paid off as they managed to seize a substantial stash of narcotics, including a pouch of brown sugar, 165 filled vials, and numerous empty vials.
