The best efforts are being made by the BSF to curb the trans-border smuggling on the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura.
On specific intelligence input, on 15th August vigilant and alert border men foiled the smuggling attempt and seized 27, 800 Yaba Tablets, 1146 bottles of Phensedyl, 31 heads of Cattles, vehicle 03 , Mobile 04 having combined seizure value Rs 1.65 crore and apprehended 05 suspected smugglers in different operations.
All the seized cattles have been handed over to Baba Gorakhnath Goshala Dharmanagar through police. While other seized items and apprehended suspected smugglers have been handed over to police for further investigation and necessary action as per law of the land.
