The police of Dharmanagar police station on Monday detained a total of 6 persons including 5 women with a child and man from the Dharmanagar ISBT and seized ganja weighing over 17 kg from their possession.
The incident took place on Monday morning after some locals of Dharmanagar ISBT alerted the police about the suspicious movement of the six persons, who were carrying some bags with them.
The detained have been identified as Bikash Mandal, Kavita Devi, Kajal Baby, Rinku Devi, Ranju Devi, Suman Devi, all residents of Bihar.
According to the locals, the detained persons, all residents of Bihar reached Kumarghat from Jirania by road and arrived at ISBT Dharmanagar by an auto.
