The administration of Tripura tribal Areas and Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) on Saturday alleged of answer key leakage day before the examination and announced postponement of the competitive examinations scheduled to be held on June 9 for the recruitment of 110 vacant posts of Sub-Zonal Development Officers and Deputy Principal Officers.
Addressing a press conference here at Agartala Press Club on Saturday the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the TTAADC C K Jamatia said that an FIR will be lodged with the West Agartala Police Station against the culprits involved in the incident of leaking the answer keys.
“It has come to the notice of the TTAADC administration that the answer keys for the competitive examination supposed to be held on June 9 next were leaked. In view of this we have decided to postpone the examination and schedule it in later course of time,” he told reporters.
He also said that the TTAADC administration will take disciplinary action against the persons responsible for the incident.
He said, “The answer keys were prepared by the administration for getting those uploaded in our official web portal so that the applicants and review their papers soon after the end of their examinations. This is for the first time happened in the TTAADC, where answer key for any competitive examination was leaked.”
Although the leaked answer keys were found to be unsigned as the TTAADC administration was supposed to sign the answer key in due course of time, he said.
“We had invited applications for filling up the vacant posts, following which about 26000 candidates applied for it and was supposed to sit for the examination on Sunday. But unfortunately, due to the unavoidable circumstances we had to postpone the examination,” he told reporters.
