In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing anti-drug campaign, the RK Pur police station in Udaipur, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Babul Das, successfully conducted a targeted raid in the Banduar area on Tuesday night.
The joint operation, involving both local police and TSR (Tripura State Rifles), led to the apprehension of five individuals directly linked to the illicit drug trade.
During the operation, 272 vails of brown sugar were seized from the arrested suspects, marking a substantial blow to the narcotics network in the region. The swift and coordinated action also resulted in the confiscation of five mobile phones and a Wagoner car with the license plate number TR-07D-0533, believed to be associated with the illegal activities.
