Assam Rifles in collaboration with Agartala based NGO "Seva O Sahayata Parisad" distributed relief material to the recently violence affected locals of Gandachera, Tripura on 21 July.
Gandachera town has recently been hit by communal violence which resulted in burning of several shops and houses. Troops of Assam Rifles along with members of the Agartala based NGO "Seva O Sahayata Parisad" distributed large quantity of relief material consisting of ration, essential household items and clothing to the local population affected by the recent violence.
The initiative underscores Assam Rifles commitment to provide relief and extend support to the local population in times of adversity.
The local people along with beneficiaries praised the efforts of Assam Rifles.
