Assam Rifles concluded a seven days National Integration Tour for Tribal Children of Karbook Village under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme from 18 to 23 December 2023.
The tour concluded its journey and flagged in at Udaipur Training Node with closing ceremony, wherein 30 students along with four teachers and five personnel of Assam Rifles shared their experiences during the journey.
On 18 December 2023, Tour started its journey from Agartala and explored various places enroute and interacted with the Governor of Meghalaya at Shillong. The aim of such an initiative was to give an insight into the rich and varied culture of North Eastern states and also understanding the wide diversity across the country in different spheres and instill the country remains one.
The tour was conducted with an aim to provide an opportunity to the tribal children to visit prominent places and interact with various intellectuals and renowned personalities. This kind of exposure will enhance their general awareness.
The team comprising 30 students and 04 teachers accompanied by five personnel of Assam Rifles was part of the tour.
