The Bhavan’s Kala Kendra – an art and cultural wing of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir on Tuesday organised 2nd Annual Prize giving ceremony here at Agartala Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan.
Tripura Lokayukt Bibhash Kanti Kilikdar, Chairman of the Aurobindo Society Udayshankar Bhattacharjee and eminent cultural personalities were present in the occasion. Principal of BTVM Swapna Shome and Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Debashish Chakraborty had felicitated the eminent cultural personalities.
The cultural evening started with the traditional way of lighting the sacred lamp. Students and parents have performed in the cultural programme, which includes yoga, music, song, dance performances.
Prizes were distributed among the winners of various competitions organised by the Kala Kendra Agartala. Stalls of Arts and Crafts were set up, wherein the artworks of students were showcased.
