The Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir (BTVM) on Friday felicitated board and school toppers for the academic session of 2023-24 through a brief programme here in the school.
Principal Swapna Shome, former chief justice of Orissa High Court Subhashis Talapatra, Senior Scientific Officer of Tripura State Forensic Science Laboratory Dr Sabyasachi Nath, Director, BVB, Kolkata and Agartala Kendra Dr G V Subramanian and Principal of Bhavan's College of Teacher's Education Dr Rajat Dey among others were present in the programme.
Students from class III to class XII were felicitated under different categories for their excellence in academics. A cultural programme was held.
The dignitaries gave their words of wisdom and appreciated the school for organizing such events which encourage students to touch new heights of success. Apart from academic awards there were some special awards namely Prof Kashinath Das Memorial Awards which included cash award of Rs. 5000 for class 12 Board Topper, Rs 5000 for Chemistry Topper, Rs 3000 for class 10 Board topper, Bhavan's Merit awards of Rs 1500 and Haralal Merit Scholarship of Rs 1500.
The Programme was presided over by Retired IFS, Chairman, BVB, Agartala Kendra Debashis Chakraborty.
