Addressing a press conference, Bhattacharya mentioned that the voters in Boxanagar and Dhanpur cast their votes with a festive spirit. "From the announcement of the by-election date until now, the election has been peaceful and voters have participated enthusiastically. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for this. The Returning Officers (RO), Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and Polling Staff have tirelessly worked in the voting process. We are confident, based on the voting trends, that the BJP will emerge victorious in both seats. People from all walks of life have come forward to vote in favor of the BJP, supporting development and the double-engine government. The people are satisfied with the performance of this double-engine government. Since the 2023 Assembly election not a single incident of political violence has occurred, and I would like to thank the Tripura Police," he said.
