The Border Security Force in Tripura celebrated the 10th International Yoga day with fervor and enthusiasm across the state including the remotest Border Outposts in resonance with the theme “Yoga for self and society”. Yoga sessions were conducted at various locations as per the yoga protocol.
According to the BSF press communique, IG Tripura Frontier Patel Piyush Purusottam led the yoga day celebrations along with BSF officers and troops at Maitree Bridge at Sabroom. The Inspector General while addressing the troops emphasized the importance of adopting yoga for physical as well as mental wellbeing and how it can help in reducing the stress in one’s life.
The BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) also organized the yoga events for families and children residing inside the BSF campuses.
