Urging the businessmen of Tripura to compete with the investors from other states, Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha today said that the businessmen of the state are the boons of the economy.
Addressing Businessman Sanmelan by BJP Trade Cell, Chief Minister Dr Saha said that the relation between businessmen of state and him is old as he also belongs from businessman family.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji means development. He never talks without development. Tripura is the one and only state in Northeast region that has been benefitted under the Act East policy. We have never thought of such State-of-Art railway station in our state. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, we are developing the railway station by adding more facilities. We can now witness a feel good environment in the state. We have also received HIRA. Now Tripura is connected with around 13 express trains and people can reach anywhere easily and all this possible because of PM Modi. Not only Railway but also highways are also developing. Works of six highways almost over and work for more four will start soon”, said Dr Saha.
He said that Tripura is witnessing wave of development and benefitted in various fields because of double engine government.
“We are also taking advantage of strongest gateway of Internet. In northeast our airport is the best one. At a time Tripura was suffering of less connectivity now we have everything so now investors from different parts of the country and from outside of the country are coming here to invest. I also want you people to compete with them and we want development of businessmen of our state. Indeed they are doing good work. You people are the boon of the economy of Tripura. If you people don’t come forward then Tripura will never be developed. We have to increase the production and have to invest”, Dr Saha urged.
He also lashed out then left front government for destroying the industries in the state by creating difference in between the businessmen and employees.
“During the then government they had tried to create difference between the businessmen and employees. They have played politics just to put a stop on the development. But after 2014 when Narendra Modi become Prime Minister, people were assured that they can invest without any problems. During the left front all the factories were shut down. But our government is working for the development of owners, businessmen and as well as for the worker. The face of the country changed after PM Modi came”, said Dr Saha.
