Union Minister of State, Pratima Bhoumik, shared her optimism about the BJP's success in the ongoing by-elections for the assembly constituencies of Dhanpur and Boxanagar in Tripura's Sepahijala district, areas that had been overlooked during the previous Left Front administration. As of 11 AM, the voter turnout had already reached over 40%.
Following her vote in the Dhanpur Assembly Constituency, Bhoumik declared that there was no doubt about the BJP candidates securing victories in both assembly seats.
She remarked, "Since the announcement of the by-election, voters have displayed great enthusiasm. Furthermore, this by-election presents an opportunity for those who, for various reasons and amidst confusion, couldn't cast their votes in favor of the BJP during the 2023 assembly elections to do so now, thereby supporting development."
Bhoumik also expressed her belief in the BJP's landslide victory, citing the party's development initiatives as the driving force behind people's support.
"We have provided free rice, water connections and toilets to the people. We remain committed to fulfilling our promises without asking people to attend rallies or contribute money for government schemes. Over the past 32 years, these constituencies have been neglected, despite having no BJP MLAs, it was a challenge for us to deliver all our flagship programs to the people. People will vote for development, surpassing past records," she emphasized.
