The Directorate of Skill Development, Government of Tripura in collaboration with NSDC International have taken initiative to facilitate employment of youths from Tripura in the international job market.
As a result of this initiative Trishna Sarkar, a nursing job candidate from Udaipur, has been employed in Japan with a monthly salary package of minimum Rs. 1 lakh. It is worth mentioning that she had undergone a 9-month Japanese language course in New Delhi.
For this, the Directorate of Skill Development, Government of Tripura had borne all her expenses for the training, travel and ancillary other expenses. This initiative is synonymous to the commitment of the state government to facilitate skill development and employment of the unemployed youths of the state.
The success of Trishna Sarkar in securing a job in Japan has been instrumental in encouraging six other nursing candidates from the state to prepare for the job in Japan. In their case also the state government will bear the training, travel etc. costs.
The state government is committed to facilitate skill development and employment of the youths from the state in the coming days as well.
This initiative will open up new avenues for the health professionals of the state. Through this, the state government is trying to facilitate employment at the international level, improve their standard of living and strengthen India-Japan relations in healthcare sector. The Director of Skill Development Mhd. Sajad P. has provided this information today in a press release.
