In a series of programs, Chief Justice T. Amarnath Goud on Thursday laid the foundation stone of an entrance arch of High Court of Tripura here at New Capital Complex.
Accompanied by Justice Arindam Lodh & Advocate General SS Dey, Chief Justice Goud laid the foundation stone of the entrance arch that would be constructed along the Agartala-Airport road at the approach to the High Court.
Thereafter, the Chief Justice along with Justice Lodh moved to the High Court ground and also laid the foundation stone of a sports arena at the High Court Complex.
The sports arena will have cricket pitch besides football, volleyball, and tennis court. The ground will also house facilities for fitness gadgets. Sitting arrangement has already been put in place at different places of the ground.
At the High Court lobby, Chief Justice Goud inaugurated a water dispensing kiosk and dedicated it to the staffers & advocates of the High Court. The kiosk has been sponsored by UCO Bank, High Court Branch under corporate social responsibility. Among others, Registrar General Viswajeet Pandey, top officials & staffers of High Court were present.
