In a significant development to provide quality education to the students of Tripura, the state government under the direction of Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha has decided to start science streams in multiple schools across Gomati and West Tripura districts.
This decision marks a long-awaited milestone and has generated immense excitement among the local communities. The introduction of the science stream in these schools is expected to have a transformative impact on the education landscape of the region.
On the issue, Chief Minister Dr. Saha who is also holding the Education department said, “I'm delighted to share that proposal for starting science stream in various schools of Gomati and West Tripura district has been approved”.
The schools are Amarpur English Medium HS School, Hariyananda English Medium HS School, Karbook Model English Medium School, Khudiram Basu English Medium School, and Bhagat Singh English Medium School. All the schools are Vidyajyoti Schools.
The CM further said, “I believe that the students in and around the said schools will be hugely benefitted by this initiative as this was a long pending demand of the people in the concerned area”.
The local community, educators, and parents have expressed their profound gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state government for approving this significant proposal. They believe that this step will open new avenues of learning for students and contribute to the overall development of the region.
