CM directs to improve facilities of Tripura Bhawans

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today directed to the state government’s officials to improve the facilities and services of Tripura Bhawans located in three states.

A meeting was held today in meeting room no. 1 of the Secretariat regarding the management and improvement of service quality of Tripura buildings outside the state.

Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha presided over the meeting. In the meeting, the Chief Minister inquired about the management of the Tripura buildings located in Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati. The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on improving the facilities and services of the people of the state as well as improving them in the buildings of Tripura.

In the meeting, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Chief Minister's Secretary PK Chakraborty, GA SA Department Secretary TK Chakma, Finance Department Secretary Brijesh Pandey, Tourism Department Secretary UK Chakma, Export Department Secretary Abhishek Singh, Agriculture Department Secretary Apurba Roy, Chief Minister's OSD Parmananda Sarkar Banerjee were present.

16th Finance Commission team to visit Tripura on Jan 29

The 16th Finance Commission headed by Chairman Arvind Panagariya would hold a series of meetings simultaneously with the Tripura government and various stakeholders such as political parties, rural and urban local bodies, and representatives of trade, Industries, and Commerce here during its four-day visit to the state from Wednesday, an official said.
