Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday inaugurated a mega blood donation camp here at Agartala, organised by the Tripura Civil Service Officers Association and said that the voluntary blood donations has taken the shape of mass movement in the state.
“People of Tripura, various organizations, clubs, and organizations are coming forward to donate blood in the festive mood on the invitation of the state government,” CM Dr Saha said, adding that a good mindset towards blood donation is developing across the state.
He said that the TCS officers play an important role in delivering various welfare oriented schemes of the state and central government to the people.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister applauded the initiative of TCS Officers Association's Mega Blood Donation Camp and said that the spirit of brotherhood is inculcated in the society through blood donation.
The Chief Minister also said that the present government of the state has given priority to provide better health care services to the people of the state. Similar to Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana, Chief Minister Jan Aarogya Yojana has been launched in the state to ensure better health care services to the last man in the society.
