Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday launched the state level special health drive of “Mukhyamantri Susthyo Shoishab, Sustho Koishore Abhiyan” (MSSSKA 5.0) at Sachin Debbarman Auditorium at Belonia in South Tripura district.
This drive will cover 11.11 lakh children and adolescents between the age groups 0-19 years from Sept 19 to Oct 3.
Addressing the gathering in the event, CM Dr. Saha said that the government has laid emphasis on boosting the health infrastructure across the state to ensure that Yakut health care to the people of the state.
“Parents should also be aware of the physical and mental development of children and adolescents. If the health of children and adolescents does not develop normally, their mental development will be disrupted,” Dr. Saha said.
The chief minister also said that the infrastructure of district hospitals in the state is being improved, so that the pressure on the state referral hospitals is reduced. In addition to this, the trend of going abroad for treatment is gradually declining with developing health infrastructure.
Drugs worth Rs 9 crore seized in Assam, two peddlers from Manipur arrested
