CM Dr. Manik Saha urges youth to follow PM Modi’s ‘Panchpran' for building developed nation

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated two-day long state level youth festival here at Agartala Nazrul Kalakshetra and urged the youths of the state to follow the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Panchpran’ – First, move forward with bigger resolves and resolve of a "developed" India; second, erase all traces of servitude; third, be proud of our legacy; fourth, the strength of our unity and fifth, duties of citizens.

“Youths play a significant role in building a developed nation,” he said, adding that the main objective of this festival is to inspire the youth in the ideals of India's freedom struggle and patriotism. He said, “Prime Minister has taken various programs including Har Ghar Triranga, Meri Mati Mera Desh to inspire the youth to think patriotically.”

Expressing concerning over the menace of drug addiction in the state, the Chief Minister said, “A section of the youth society is being misguided due to addiction; hence the youths need to be vocal against addiction.”
