Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday has termed the alliance of CPIM and Congress as ‘unholy alliance’ which will lose many seats in the upcoming election as people are now aware about their drama.
Speaking with reporters, in the sideline after laying foundation stone of beautification of a pond in Agartala and other projects, CM Dr Saha said, “It was really very strange that at a time when many Congress workers were brutally killed, their houses were set on fire by CPIM goons and now for their own benefit they are doing all such things. This is really very strange. They are evil power and this is an unholy alliance”.
He said that people are well aware about all this ‘unholy alliance’.
“People especially the Congress followers have understood that they can’t stay in congress anymore. People are aware about their drama. In coming days people will teach them lessons and they ill loose many seats in upcoming election. However we have no such information that TIPRA Motha will be with them or not. But the thing is we are working for development and for welfare of people. I want to tell the Congress leaders to join in CPIM as there would be no benefit in Congress. Earlier also they were with CPIM” said CM Dr Saha.
