People from different parts of the state yet again have come over to speak directly with the Chief Minister at his residence today in the weekly programme, Mukhyamantri Samipeshu.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha patiently listened to the woes and issues of the public and directed the concerned officials to take initiatives accordingly.
Krishnanagar resident Papri Saha attended the programme to seek assistance for the treatment of her 4.5- years old son Adipta Pal who is being treated at AIIMS, Delhi since past 4 years and had undergone 4 surgeries as well. Doctors have suggested growth hormone therapy for him which is an expensive process.
Likewise, a resident of Satdubiya of Sidhai Mohanpur and labour by profession Gourajit Sutradhar attended the programme to seek assistance for treatment of his 12-years old daughter Puja Sutradhar suffering from blood cancer, whereas Sabroom resident Nepal Das, also a daily wage earner went to seek assistance for his 6-years old son Bandhan Das suffering from kidney-related disease. The Chief Minister directed concerned officials to do the needful for the treatment of Adipta, Puja and Bandhan.
Besides, the Chief Minister also directed the Secretary of Social Welfare & Social Education to take necessary step in this regard.
A farmer by profession and resident of Sundartilla of Sidhai Mohanpur Rupal Debnath suffering from kidney related disease also attended Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme. Due to his health condition deteriorating suddenly, he was taken to IGM hospital from the programme venue. Doctors then referred him to GBP hospital. Rupal's nephew Abhijit Debnath then came to meet the Chief Minister to speak on behalf of his uncle regarding his disease. The Chief Minister instantly directed the concerned officials to make necessary arrangements for Rupal's treatment.
The Chief Minister patiently listened to them and others coming from different parts of the state and directed concerned officials to take necessary steps accordingly. Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary of Education department Saradindu Chowdhury, Secretary of Social Welfare & Social Education department Tapas Roy. Assistant Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation Mahendra Chakma, OSD of Directorate of Health Services Dr. Dibyendu Bikash Das and Joint Director of SW&SE department Arun Kumar Debbarma were present during the programme.
