Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has said that health is wealth and without good health everything is in vain.
“The present government of the state has given priority to the expansion of better health services. Also working on priority basis to advance every sector including education, agriculture, and communication. The present Central and State Governments have also taken initiatives to improve Ayurvedic medical services with equal priority along with allopathic medical services”, said CM while inaugurating the newly constructed 50-bed Ayurveda Bhavan at Paradise Choumuhni in Agartala.
In the event, the Chief Minister said that Ayurveda is part of Indian culture.
“Once upon a time people from outside the country used to come to take advantage of Ayurveda medical services in India. The whole world followed the path of India. Over time this cultural culture was lost by the people. People of the country are rediscovering that rain culture after the coming of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People are researching Ayurveda all over the world. The medical science of Ayurveda is being accepted by people these days. Indian Ayurveda is now recognized all over the world”, he said.
He said, now a lot of sophistication has been added in medical science. Be aware of how to use them to provide special services to the public.
The Chief Minister urged the medical personnel to be courteous to people while providing medical services.
The Chief Minister said that Integrated Ayurveda Hospital has already been started in Gomati district. Primary health centers in the state are being converted into wellness centres. The only dental college of the state has already been inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
“The state government is taking initiative on how to improve the doctors as well as medical staff in the state. The state government is constantly working to advance every sector starting from health. The present government is working to ensure that there is no deficiency anywhere”, he said.
