Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various projects worth Rs 250 crore, comprising 34 projects, in Unakoti district tomorrow.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy said that the Chief Minister is arriving tomorrow to inaugurate and laying foundation stones of several projects.
“It includes the foundation-laying ceremony for the new building of the Unakoti District Magistrate’s Office, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office, District Transport Office, Veterinary District Hospital, new De-Addiction District Hospital, DISE Office of the Social Welfare Department, CDPO Office, Child Care Institution, three Tehsil Buildings, Nurses Training Centre, three school buildings, and two water projects in hilly areas. Additionally, he will inaugurate a market shed,” he said.
The Minister added that a total of 34 projects worth Rs 250 crore will be inaugurated, and foundation stones will be laid by the Chief Minister.
Roy, who is also the Minister of Social Welfare and Social Education, said, “Focusing on this important event, we visited the venue and the Chandipur block premises designated for the main event and reviewed all the preparations. To ensure the success of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s program in Kailashahar subdivision on March 4, we also held an important meeting with party leaders at the district office of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kailashahar.”
He further added that a preparatory meeting was also held with leaders of the Kailashahar and Chandipur assembly constituencies, focusing on the massive public meeting scheduled at Swami Vivekananda Maidan on March 9 to mark the second anniversary of the BJP-led government. Detailed discussions were held with all stakeholders in today’s meeting to ensure an orderly and successful event.
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Health Department Secretary Kiran Gitte, Secretary Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Transport Department Secretary Chandra Kumar Jamatia, State Social Education Department Director Tapan Kumar Das, among others.
