Focusing on the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha attended a booth sashaktikaran abhiyan today, a vital step in preparing for the forthcoming electoral battle.
The abhiyan saw the active participation of office bearers, Shakti Kendra in-charges and booth presidents from the 14-Badharghat mandal, reflecting a collective effort towards reinforcing grassroots democracy.
During his address, Dr Saha urged the karyakartas to proactively engage with the local people, understand their concerns and effectively communicate the government's initiatives and achievements which will help BJP in gaining the bonding and support as well.
“We must secure victory in future elections by strengthening our organization at the booth level. Establishing strong bonds with the people and gaining their support is paramount. We must stay connected with people during their good and bad days. However, simply visiting homes isn't enough; we must forge meaningful connections and earn people's trust which will strengthen the party on grassroots level”, he said.
Dr Saha also told the karyakartas to gift two lotuses to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by winning both the Lok Sabha seats with more votes than last time.
He said that focus should be on creating powerful booths.
"By understanding and addressing the basic problems of the people, we can gain their unwavering support, ultimately benefiting our party”, he said.
During the meeting Dr Saha has also shared his experiences and ideas with the karyakartas.
