Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha appealed to the karyakartas on Wednesday to create mass awareness about the development works undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government for the benefit of the people.
Addressing an organizational programme at Churaibari Community Hall in Dharmanagar Sub-division of North district, the Chief Minister said, "The developmental works taking place across the country and in the state are possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have to reach each and every house with information about PM Modi and his development initiatives. Merely distributing leaflets won't be enough. We have always emphasized the strength of our booth, and we can achieve this by reaching out to the people with details of the development works."
Dr. Saha further emphasized that previously people heard about corruption in every sector, but now, under PM Modi's transparent governance, there is no room for corruption. He said, "PM Modi is running this government transparently and we are following the same approach in our government. Earlier, various scams were rampant, but now we have a transparent system. We must strengthen the organization because without organization, nothing substantial can be achieved. There should be no difference between Karyakartas, MLAs and Ministers; everyone should be down-to-earth and be connected with the common people. Karyakartas represent both the government and the party. We need to carry forward the development works of the state government and PM Modi to the people."
Dr. Saha highlighted that the Tripura government is working in every sector for the betterment of the people. He urged everyone to raise awareness about the state budgets and development initiatives. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, stating that in the coming days, there might be research comparing "Before 2014" and "After 2014," as the country has witnessed a wave of development during the nine years of PM Modi's governance.
