The Traffic Police in Agartala will soon launch a drive against illegal parking to make the city congestion-free.
On the issue, Superintendent of Police, Traffic Police, Manik Das, said that on May 25th, the Traffic Police, Agartala Municipal Corporation and Tripura Police held a meeting and decided on a joint action plan to make the city congestion-free.
“We had already taken many steps and also decided on some action plans. As we were waiting to conclude the election, we will soon start our drive. People must park their vehicles in parking zones, and whoever is found parking in no parking areas will be penalized. We are starting our drive against illegal parking soon,” he said.
