Aiming to strengthen transport infrastructure and redefine mobility, the Tripura government has decided to launch e-Bus service as part of the execution of ‘PM e-Bus Sewa’.
The state transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday chaired a crucial meeting with the transport officials here at the secretariat.
Sharing the objective of the meeting the minister Sushanta Chowdhury on his social media handle stated that the e-Bus service in the dream project of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to came his dream come true, the Tripura government along with the rest of the parts of the state will soon launch the e-Bus service in the state.
The project is aimed to augment bus operations in the city by developing electric buses and the execution of the project in the state of Tripura is to realize the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi 10,000 e-buses will be deployed in different cities across the country, he added.
