Engineers play vital role in developing infrastructure; CM Dr Manik Saha urges engineers working outside to return Tripura and build better state

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday inaugurated the observance of 57th Engineers’ Day here in a function at Agartala and said that engineers play a significant role in developing infrastructure of any state.

Addressing the gathering of engineers and students in the function, the Chief Minister Dr Saha said that the state of Tripura has witnessed massive transformation in terms of development of infrastructure during the last six years, where the engineers of the state had played a vital role.

CM Dr Saha remembered the significant contribution of Indian Civil Engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to various engineering fields, including irrigation, hydroelectric power, and public health and the profound impact on the nation's development.

Dr Saha however urged upon the engineers working outside the state to return to their hometown in Tripura and help the government build Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura.
