Tripura Badminton Association has filed a case against Sanjib Saha, former secretary of the association for defalcation of funds and conducting elections in an illegal way.
Speaking with the media, Tripura Badminton Association working president Ratan Saha said that Sanjib Saha the then secretary of the association has illegally conducted an election and formed a committee without informing the present committee.
“He did this totally in an illegal way. He even didn’t inform the President of Badminton Committee who was former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma. They all of suddenly created this committee illegal way. On May 07 we dissolved the committee and formed a new committee. We have also given an ultimatum to him to provide all the documents and other exchequer or else we would take legal action against him. However, he didn’t respond so we have filed a case against him. He looted all the money”, said Ratan Saha.
Ratan Saha said that they have filed the case with the West Agartala Police station against Sanjib Saha.
