Former Dy CM Expresses Confidence in BJP's Impending Victory

AGARTALA:

In a fervent declaration, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma exuded unwavering optimism, asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for an imminent triumph in the forthcoming by-elections. With the electoral contest scheduled for September 5, Varma pointed to the resounding support the party has garnered across both constituencies.

Having immersed himself in the campaign fervor of Boxanagar and Dhanpur, Varma marveled at the overwhelming response from the populace. Streets have come alive with the vibrancy of enthusiastic citizens flocking to BJP rallies, painting a bright and promising picture for the party's prospects.

"I have traversed Boxanagar and Dhanpur, participating in numerous party events and campaigns," Varma stated. "The response has been nothing short of resoundingly positive. People are emerging from their homes with boundless enthusiasm, rallying behind our party's cause. This groundswell of support leaves no room for doubt – victory for the BJP is not a question of 'if,' but 'when.'"

In a tongue-in-cheek remark aimed at the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Varma humorously dubbed them the 'Complain Party of India' on Friday. He criticized the CPIM's penchant for incessant complaints and their apparent lack of dedication to the betterment of the people.

"CPIM has a knack for incessant complaints about others," Varma quipped. "They seem to have perfected the art of complaining, yet their track record in serving the people remains conspicuously lacking. Consequently, they have earned themselves the moniker of the 'Complain Party of India,' and little else," he said.
