Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu embarked on a visit to the industrial units of the Tripura Forest Development and Plantation Corporation Limited (TFDPC) situated in Nagicherra. The purpose behind this visit was to evaluate the functioning and initiatives undertaken by various units under TFDPC.
Upon his arrival, the Governor received a warm welcome from Dr. A Kanfade, the Chief Conservator of Forests and Managing Director of TFDPC. Throughout the visit, Governor Nallu was briefed on the corporation's initiatives, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their operations.
The Governor toured several significant units, including the Rubber Wood Industry Unit, Common Facility Centre, Unakoti Crafts and Furniture Unit, Crafts and Furniture Showroom, and Bamboo Crafts and Furniture Units. Atanu Chakraborty, the General Manager of TFDPC, provided detailed insights into the activities and accomplishments of these units. Accompanying the Governor was Assistant General Manager Alok Pal, enhancing the visit's effectiveness and engagement.
The official announcement of Governor Nallu's visit was made from the Raj Bhavan, underscoring the state's dedication to sustainable forest management and economic progress through the initiatives spearheaded by TFDPC.
