The state agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath on Monday inaugurated the annual general conference of Mohanpur Primary marketing Cooperative Society Ltd. and said that the government has laid utmost importance in strengthening the cooperative societies of the state.
“The cooperative societies of the state play a crucial role in operating regular markets and also it helps in generating employment opportunities. Hence there is a need to engage more people with the cooperative societies of the state,” he said.
On the other hand, the state cooperative minister Shukla Charan Noatia said that the present government has taken various initiatives for public welfare. Extensive initiatives have been taken to strengthen the economy of the state through cooperatives, he said, adding that Cooperatives have played an important role in the steps taken by the present government of the state to make the people self-reliant in various fields.
