The state government with the approval of the High Court of Tripura has already decided to set up of New District & Sessions Judge Court at Bishramganj.
During assembly session MLA Subodh Debbarma has asked this question to the Law Minister who is Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on whether the government has any plan to establish a new District & Sessions Judge Court at Bishramganj.
In reply it was mention that for this purpose the state government in the Law Department has already issued an administrative approval and expenditure sanction amounting to Rs. 35,29,38,000 for the purpose of construction of Court Building at Bishramganj.
After completion of construction of the New District & Sessions Judge at Bishramganj, the functions of District Judiciary at Bishramganj would commence.
