Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday inaugurated multifaceted developmental project work at Kailashahar in Unakoti district of the state and said that his government is working diligently to ensure corruption-free development in Tripura.
The Chief Minister inaugurated Science Building & Additional Classroom of Baidyanath Smriti HS School, 6 additional classrooms at Dhanbilas Higher Secondary School, newly constructed two-storied building at Panchamnagar High School, quarter complex for Kanika Memorial Primary Health Centre, newly constructed two-storied building at Belkumbari English Medium Higher Secondary School and others in Kailashahar.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Chairperson of Kailashahar Municipal Council Chapla Deb Rai, District Magistrate D K Chakma, and others were present in the programme.
Addressing the gathering from the ground of Baidyanath Smriti HS School, the Chief Minister Dr Saha said that the government wants the development of infrastructure in all areas including education. He said, “This year's budget has allocated more funds than last year for infrastructural development. Along with education infrastructure, the government has also given importance to the development of sports infrastructure.”
“Earlier there was only one national highway in the state. Now many national highways have been constructed. This was made possible by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Act East policy,” he said, adding that electrification of rail communications is now underway in the state.
